Having worked in dental practice for many years, thoroughly enjoying my time looking after my patients and their families, in 2021 I felt that it was time to pursue a long-held dream to focus on my special interest in non-surgical facial aesthetics. Co-founding HGface with my friend and colleague Jo has enabled me to continue to make a positive difference to people’s lives by guiding them through their personal aesthetics journey.

I began my training in this fascinating area of medicine back in 2008. I have learned from world-renowned industry leader Professor Bob Khanna and other experts along the way. I maintain a commitment to continuous learning from the best clinicians in medical aesthetics to stay current in this rapidly evolving field. I have always found the art of facial aesthetics to be a natural fit for my skills in maxillofacial surgery, the care of anxious patients, cosmetic dentistry, and my interest in treating facial pain, headache, and jaw joint disorders.

I believe in a holistic approach in treating the face. Starting with an in-depth consultation to understand your goals, I will create a bespoke treatment plan for you. The safe and gentle techniques I use are designed to balance and enhance the features, resulting in the most natural and harmonious outcomes.

Jo performs skin treatments at the clinic.

My career as a nurse since the late 1980’s has been deeply rewarding, providing invaluable experience in healthcare and psychology. I have been privileged to witness the pathway from youth to older age in my patients which has inspired my desire to help people age gracefully and confidently.

My passion is in skin health and the benefit to overall well-being. A look in the mirror at my own face a few years ago sparked an interest in how I could improve my own ageing journey. Following my professional consultation, I was not prepared for the huge improvements in my skin after just a few weeks of products and supplements tailored to my own requirements.

Thus began my desire to learn all about medical grade skincare and the treatments to help, not just the aging skin, but problem skins like acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation.

I have trained extensively with many of the leading medical brands such as Obagi®, Medik8®, SkinBetter Science® and Neostrata®. I combine skincare products with enhancing treatments such as skinboosters, microneedling and peels.
